Baptist throwing " Stones " at Boy Scout Organization and Scout Troops

John 13:34-35

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Oh Yeah?  Who says? Not tha Baptist!!
Southern Baptist Convention

Boy Scouts of America

The Southern Baptist Convention and its churches are now doing a battle with the Boy Scouts of America and attempting to ram down its throats a " boycott " for its decision to allow gays into the scout organizations. Now don't get us wrong here at the, we do not condone sexual impurities BUT we are tolerant and resilient to help anyone who wants and needs assistance with todays life challenges. That is what Christianity is about. Helping other learn and teaching them the ways of Jesus. How can an organization be so naive to know that the church is for those "gays" and give them a huge opportunity to witness and teach them Biblical principles. We feel that the SBC is again choosing to use the Bible as a Buffet " all you can beat "  - yes " all you can beat " and not a typing error - morality tool. They again are using selective enforcement of biblical passages for their own agenda. We believe this to be a " selective assault " by those within the Baptist Mafia who have their own personal agendas and power resolve. Once instance you ask.... It is an utter disgrace that any church would remove a Boy Scout Troop for this one issue when the church itself has consistently and continuously failed to deal with Pastors who have ABUSED and Sexually MOLESTED and assaulted minors and youth for YEARS.   HOW dare you BAPTIST - SHAME ON YOU!!!

Fred Luter - President of the Southern Baptist Convention.

I "CULTBUSTER" SAY:  "Yes Homosexuality is wrong and we don't condone it, but is it any worse than those BAPTIST MINISTERS who support Baptist pastors who have  " Abused and Sexually Molested " youth and members of those within Baptist Churches and then protected them for years?"
Which verses of the Bible should be operative in our lives if we are to live up to its moral injunctions, as the Southern Baptists feel that are doing in response to the Boy Scouts’ decision to admit gay youths?
From a Scout Leader: “For over a century now, the Boy Scouts have sacrificially given men and boys impressive skill sets, leadership training, outdoors experience, and fond memories. Almost every community in the United States has been blessed by service projects carried out by diligent Scouts. Now a new generation of iconoclasts seeks to destroy this heritage in their crusade against all things patriotic, faith-based and masculine.
“Most who are pressuring the Boy Scouts of America do not care about the organization. It is just another casualty in their culture war.”

“There’s a 100% chance that there will be a resolution about disaffiliation at the convention,” said Richard Land, the longtime head of the Southern Baptists’ Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, “and a 100% chance that 99% of people will vote for it.” The denomination will vote on nonbinding but influential resolutions during a convention June 11-12 in Houston.

“Southern Baptists are going to be leaving the Boy Scouts en mass,” Land continued.
Hypocrites are heading to Houston Tx!  Beware!

" I have family members who go to a BAPTIST Church...sometimes twice on Sundays...and come out and do THE total opposite of what has been spoken to them. It came to a point where I chose to leave all of it and walk away. My soul couldn't bear the hatred and gossip and contempt anymore, so yes, it WAS a very difficult thing to do......... SO I QUIT !!!!!!!!!!!!! ( anonymous poster )
AND......Membership among Southern Baptists has fallen slightly for the sixth straight year.

The nation's largest Protestant denomination released in-house statistics Wednesday June 5th showing that total membership dropped 0.66 percent in 2012. The annual report prepared by the Southern Baptist Convention's Lifeway Christian Resources and reported by the Baptist Press news service says there were 105,000 fewer Baptists in 2012 than the year before.

Baptisms fell by 5.5 percent after a slight increase in 2011. That's considered a particularly important measure of growth for a denomination committed to evangelism......
Hmmmmm, wonder why?  Is it because people are waking up to the hypocrisy? We think so!
So Get ready Southern Baptist Convention. It is coming....As the Bible says in Matthew 12:25 "And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand".

We think all Baptist should reconsider where you are attending a church that stands behind and for the stoning of the Scouts instead of converting and loving those that do have impurities - otherwise why be a Christian?  Do you expect a perfect church and world?
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces." How are we going to know as undesirable the behaviors of "dogs" and "swine" if we do not judge?
Baptist Mafia leaders we are watching you bunch of heathens as you are the dogs and swine we are judging. Beware of the Baptist Denomination leadership - CULT LEAD, CULT FED!
More to Come

Thank You for sharing. Just to let all know, I am a long time Baptist member who has prayed about this and I have made the decision to leave the Baptist church. As a past deacon and elder of my church, it is sad that the Baptist denomination has turned to the hate ways - not just this but many other issues. Jusus is weeping. We should LOVE all and not judge.

Baptist are heading down the path of destruction and I want to jump ship before it sinks. I was and am embarrassed to say that I am Baptist.

Baptist, there is something about that name........

Really want to know who I am? said...

At least one of the Baptist pastors get it....

Before the vote, Charlie Dale, pastor of Indian Springs First Baptist Church in Pelham, Ala. said the resolution "is not going to help the cause of Christ."

Of boys who say they are gay, he said, "Let's bring them in, show them what real biblical manhood is about and love them."

Time to expose more and more until they get on their own knees instead of others throats.

I agree Cultbuster, this is a sad bunch now with all the Buffet troughs they slurp in.

There they go again with there "resolutions". When will they ever learn!
